A practice leader with Taylor Leibow since 1998, Mike practices solely in the areas of Business Valuations and Litigation Support. A member of the Canadian Institute of Chartered Business Valuators, Mike has obtained the top professional designation awarded to litigation accountants and business valuators. He is also recognized by the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants as an expert in business valuations, having been granted the CA·CBV designation.

Over his 17 years of consulting with entrepreneurs and other professional advisors, Mike has developed a unique process to ensure the firm's clients get the most value for the services of his department. Every client-service opportunity begins with a detailed assessment of the goals and objectives of the project. A suite of services is then designed to ensure deliverables created by Mike and his team will maximize the chances of success.

Mike has been recognized by Canadian courts as an expert in the fields of Business Valuations and Economic Analysis and can assist legal counsel in all aspects of the litigation process. He has a particular fondness for assisting entrepreneurs grow their business through strategic acquisitions and helping them realize the fruits of a lifetime of labour by planning and executing effective exit strategies.

Born and raised in Hamilton, Mike currently lives in Ancaster with his wife and their two children. His strong sense of community involvement manifests itself through community-based volunteering, particularly as the current treasurer of the Juravinski Cancer Centre Foundation.

When away from the office, Mike enjoys spending time with his family and competing in amateur athletics. As a champion swimmer, Mike holds several Ontario and National records in his age category and has won many medals at Provincial and National swimming competitions.
